Pregnenolone Liposome Drops contain natural pregnenolone, a hormone made primarily in the adrenal glands, and also found in the brain, liver and gonads. It is synthesized from cholesterol and is the precursor to mineralocorticoids, which regulate sodium/potassium balance; glucocorticoids, which influence glucose metabolism; and gonadocorticoids, which secrete androgens and estrogens.
