Navajo potter, Johnny Williams is from the First Bitter Water People out of Lyanbito NM. He learned his craft from his grandmother at the age of 7. This is an excellent example of what he can do with glazing, etching, and painting. He has actually finished and decorated BOTH the inside and the outside of this unique and beautiful bowl. What a gorgeous item. The outside of the bowl is painted and etched with the colors of clay, white and blue. He has etched many traditional Navajo designs in the bowl. The inside of the bowl is glazed and etched with more complimentary designs. It is truly an amazing piece of art. It will receive many compliments! The bowl measures 5-1/2" in diameter, 3-3/4" tall, and has a 4-3/4" opening. You will not see this bowl anywhere else. It is a one-of-a-kind!
