The Navajo Artist, Sharon Cisco,  has stamped her initials 'SC' and 'sterling', into the back of the watch tips on this magnificent watch. She has fashioned an incredible work of art in the sterling silver watch tips. The tips have the hand cut traditional images of the Man in the Maze symbol. They have been overlaid onto the sterling silver watch tips creating a deep shadow box look. The watch tips are 1-5/8" long and 1" wide. They are attached to an adjustable stretch band and a Selectime Quartz watch with a black face and silver numbers--easy to read. The watch face compliments the watch tips and does not distract.

Overlay is created by sweating, or soldering, two pieces of silver together. The top piece contains a design element which is meticulously cut out of silver. The bottom piece is oxidized and often textured to produce a contrasting background. It is then carefully filed, buffed and polished to product a fine finished product.

The 'Man in the Maze' Legend states that when a person is born, they enter a maze of life. The entrance is at the top where Elder Brother (Se-eh-ha) is waiting to show the way. There are multiple dead ends, obstacles and detours. They feel the struggle to understand the physical, emotional and spiritual growth will guide them through the maze. At every turn is the opportunity to understand and appreciate the cycle of life, and to gain strength to move toward their goals. If the path is traveled with a balance with nature and in harmony, the legend says that dreams and ambitions will be found at the center of the maze where Sun God (E-e-thoi) waits. He then passes them on to the next world.
