Representing self-generation, resurrection and renewal.
Fully carved in high relief, this amulet contains the images of scarab, Eye of Horus and ankh.
The scarab was linked to Khepri, the god of the rising sun, and later with Ra. The ancient Egyptians believed that Khepri renewed the sun every day before rolling it above the horizon, then carried it through the other world after sunset, only to renew it again the next day.
Created of thick cast sterling silver, this item comes with a black satin neck cord.
