This bass has a great design. It is solid and durable, it has great action (and very adjustable depending on your playing style), it has a smooth neck, and its' luthite body gives it loads of low end, but without neglecting the high end pops for slapping; and it has more on board sound control than some amplifiers. For example: with the mid frequency knob, you can turn it in mid note and it acts sort of like a wah pedal. To the best of my knowledge, this particular model is discontinued; which makes it a real catch for everything that comes with it!!
This bass is well played, but still sounds great. It may need a quick tune-up (neck adjustment and what-not) since it hasn’t been played in a few years. And it will probably need new strings (though it has elixirs on it currently). But it has been kept in the case and proper climate, so it is still in great shape.
Included in the price: the bass, the case, an Ibanez PD7 distortion pedal and ac adapter, and a very portable stand. Included for FREE are some old cords that I will no longer need; though I don’t know how many of them still work as I cannot currently test them.
I hope whoever buys this great deal really enjoys it and takes good care of it. I know I have!!
