CalMAN enhancements give the Spyder3 performance unavailable any other way. Each Spyder3 is individually calibrated by SpectraCal. If you are looking for a great colorimeter to do home calibrations at a reasonable price without sacrificing quality, the CalMAN Enhanced Spyder3 offers performance that was previously only available at a much higher price. Seven sensors deliver exceptional colorimeter performance. Included are a tripod holder and stand in addition to a suction cup for direct screen mounting.
The Spyder3 is a wonderfully engineered meter that lacks factory calibration. We now have the ability to calibrate these in house to take the guesswork out of buying an uncalibrated meter. We purchase a bulk lot of Spyder3s, pick through them, throw away the ones that are too far out of compliance to calibrate, and calibrate the rest. Because the Spyder3 lacks the hardware capability of holding the calibration table in the meter itself, CalMAN supplies the calibration table in software.
