The image features a close shot of Chaplin, as a WWI soldier, seated on his bunk and looking rather glum while one of his fellow recruits plays a harmonica while reading from sheet music that is propped up by his bayonet. The caption at the upper right reads, "Music with meals." Whereas the original 1918 First National release lobby cards are black-and-white, the cards created for the 1920s Pathe reissue are full-color. This beautiful Chaplin lobby card is in near flawless condition with rich saturated colors.
