(20.3 x 25.4 cm.) still photograph from producer/director Howard Hughes' first sound film. The image features a close shot of American Roy Rutledge (James Hall) as he hides inside a deep window frame and points a pistol. The dramatic lighting and composition in this still photograph are striking and add to the drama of the scene. This vintage original still photograph is in excellent condition with a 1 in. chip on the upper outer white border, one pinhole in each corner within the image area and light signs of wear at the corners. On the verso is the original United Artists studio rubber stamp which reads "James Hall in Howard Hughes' thrilling air spectacle "Hell's Angels" in light purple ink.
