Vintage original 8 x 10 in. double-weight publicity still photograph of one of the descendants of Rin Tin Tin by de freitas of Hollywood, c.1920s, very fine condition. Rin Tin Tin was discovered during World War I, on September 15, 1918, by US Air Corporal Lee Duncan and his battalion in Lorraine, France. The famous cinema dog appeared in twenty-nine primarily silent films from 1922 through 1931. One of his descendants made films in the 1930's and the photograph offered here is of the descendant.
