20th Century-Fox; 1941; dir: Lynn Shores; cast: Jane Withers, Charles "Buddy" Rogers, Katharine Aldridge, George Irving, Buddy Pepper. Vintage original 27 x 41-1/4 in. (68.6 x 104.8 cm.) U.S. one-sheet poster, folded and unrestored, very fine condition. The beautiful artwork features a large headshot of the film's stars, Jane Withers (as Jane Drake, who's grandfather owns a trotting horse farm) and Charles "Buddy" Rogers (as Dean MacArdle, who buys the farm from Jane's grandfather). The lower portion of the poster features an exciting horse racing scene featuring another image of Miss Withers leading the race.

THIS POSTER IS FROM THE ESTATE OF CHARLES "BUDDY" ROGERS AND WAS HIS PERSONAL COPY. Rogers was the third husband of silent film legend Mary Pickford. The poster was originally to be sold with many other items from Rogers' and Pickford's estate at the "Pickfair Estate Auction" by Julien's Auctions on November 22 & 23, 2008 in Beverly Hills, CA (see photo of the cover of the auction catalog). The poster was not received by the time the catalog went to print, so the poster was not offered for sale during the auction but acquired afterwards. Measuring 27 x 41 in., the poster is unrestored and folded as originally issued. It is in very fine condition with bright colors and no tears, pinholes or stains. There is a small 1.5 to 2 in. area of vertical paper loss on the outer edge of the top left and right portion of the poster near the top which does not detract from the beauty of this piece in any way.
