The image features a dramatic interior shot of the handsome Armand Duval (Rudolph Valentino) who is having an argument with his lover, Marguerite Gautier (Alla Nazimova). This beautiful still photograph was taken by Arthur Rice, the noted Hollywood photographer, and his signature appears in the lower right corner. This vintage copy still photograph was most likely printed in the 1940's or possibly earlier and is in very fine condition with virtually no flaws. This version of "Camille" is perhaps the most celebrated of the numerous silent film versions and is also noted for the exquisite Art Deco-themed sets, as well as the film's costumes, which were designed by Valentino's wife, Natacha Rambova.
