Vintage 8 x 10 in. (20.3 x 25.4 cm.) U.S. double-weight copy still photograph, c.1940's or earlier, near fine condition. The image features an interior studio publicity shot of Rudolph Valentino in costume as the young Spanish toreador, Juan Gallardo, who is wearing a sash around his waist with a wool vest and a head scarf. This still photograph was printed on double-weight stock most likely in the 1940's or earlier and is in near fine condition. There are two horizontal scratches across the top of the photograph approximately 0.75 and 1.0 inches below the upper border which are only noticeable when viewing the photograph at an angle. There is also a small smudge in the left outer border in the upper portion. "Blood and Sand" is considered one of Valentino's most popular films.
