Vintage original U.S. 5 x 7 in. (12.7 x 17.8 cm.) "fan photo" of silent film actor Elliott Dexter with a rubber stamp facsimile of his signature in purple ink, very fine condition with virtually no flaws. "Fan Photos" were issued by the studios upon request of the "fans," usually for the price of a quarter. Elliott Dexter's silent film career lasted from 1915 through 1925 and he appeared in such films as "Stella Maris" (with Mary Pickford) and "The Whispering Chorus" (directed by Cecil B. De Mille).
