From THE VALENTINO COLLECTION - U.S. 8 x 10 in. (20.3 x 25.4 cm.) copy still photograph, very fine condition. The image depicts a vintage 1920's color trade magazine advertisement featuring Rudolph Valentino with a bevy of American beauties. The handsome silent film actor toured eighty-eight cities in America to select a "beauty" from each city, which culminated in a final contest in New York City where the ultimate winner was selected. Newsreel footage of the film contest was taken and this trade advertisement was used to publicize this footage.

THE VALENTINO COLLECTION is a collection of high-quality 8 x 10 in. copy still photographs that were made from a dupe negative of a vintage original still photograph or a later copy still photograph from our archive of over 1,500 stills relating to silent film legend Rudolph Valentino.
