RAINBOW TROUT sculpture

RAINBOW TROUT sculpture

PRICE:  $300.00

Quantity:

These three-dimensional, bas relief game fish sculptures are individually crafted from solid copper. The artist uses a variety of hand tools to achieve a striking and remarkably accurate depiction of each species. Once formed, each sculpture is painted with heat to produce beautiful markings and iridescent colors. Finally, they are finished with a clear coating to deter oxidation. Each fish comes ready to hang on a nail or picture hook. Can be used indoors or out. Measures 10 x 24". Ships directly from the artist.

These sculptures are individually crafted by hand as they are ordered. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

----------

Hanes Hoffman – who chose copper as the medium best suited for sculpting his creations - has had a lifelong fascination with the beauty of fish and other wildlife. He uses his fishing time not only as a form of rest and relaxation, but also as an opportunity for research and development. He is constantly examining and photographing each species he encounters. In his work he strives to depict each species realistically, but with an artists eye for color and attention to detail.
