SHOGUN KOOL KAN TRANSMISSION FLUID COOLER
Shogun's new fluid cooler, "KOOL-KAN", is an exceptionally efficient way of reducing and controlling excess fluid temperatures. It not only controls the temperature, BUT also has an additional built-in feature which retains the fluid within the canister even with the engine shut off. This accomplishes two things; First, it allows the fluid in the canister to bleed off heat simply by utilizing the heat sink effects of the internal and external fins. Secondly and equally important is this next feature. By not allowing the fluid to drain back, the entire fluid system remains full of liquid without having air pockets within the circuit. Air pockets within the fluid circuit are one of the more common causes for transmission brake slippage.
