New! For 2009, Quantum's top-of-the-line Tour Edition PTi-B spinning series showcases some of the most advanced features ever built into a spinning reel, and does it with a 17% reduction in weight! The most notable feature is the re-designed ThinLine aluminum body. Ultra-sleek, and ultra-strong, this design has proven itself to be the most comfortable and durable on the water.
Tour Edition PTi-B reels also feature an ultralight skeletal titanium handle that not only looks great, but helps to reduce weight while providing confident cranking.
Qunatum's improved LMS (line management system) provides more precision for line take-up with less twist and damage to the line. You'll also notice much smoother cranking because of the 12 PT bearings.
