We offer fine facsimile dust jackets to enhance you beloved books! Our dust jacket reproductions are from the older classics of fiction (some are non-fiction or scientific or just plan unusual) and are printed by myself one at a time, after the original source material has been digitally scanned and meticulously restored on a pixel level many times. We do not reproduce current or recent dust jackets from books earlier than 1967, usually in the range of the 1900's to 1940's, and then I have to find it interesting enough (or rare enough) to spend the time and effort on bringing a usually time-worn dust jacket back to life. Sometimes color-matching is difficult with an old jacket due to fading, so my best effort as an artist will be decisive in the final output. Each jacket we issue will have a label signed by the artist John Anthony Miller attached to the verso stating that it is a facsimile reproduction. Frequently you will see my "JAM" monogram on the rear flap and a printed notation on the rear jacket flap that the jacket is a facsimile. We are adding new ones constantly and not every jacket we have is listed here! If you don't see what you need, just ask us! We may be able to supply you with the dust jacket you need! We use the finest papers for our purpose as well as inks. You may visit my artist's website at www.johnanthonymiller.com to get an idea of my skill in art. Please remember that these facsimile dust jackets will never be mass produced, it is impossible. I disagree with those booksellers that think adding a facsimile dust jacket adds no value to a book. It does add value, perhaps not as much as an original jacket, but value, protection of the book and aesthetics are definitely added to the book. Many of my own books in my personal library have my facsimile jackets on them, that is how I got started doing this some years ago. Value IS added. This is what my clients say again and again. Please do not ask me to make any book jackets post 1967, I won't do it. If you ask me to "age" a facsimile jacket I will not do that either. Thank you very much. - John Anthony Miller, artist, bookseller
