As new, large Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival poster signed by Ray Bradbury.
First of all, it difficult to any kind of poster signed and keep it decent shape. Usually the thing gets bumped and creased.
This is a nice poste , I did go to a lot of trouble to get it signed. But put this framed on your wall it will be impressive.
NOTE; There is small dull crease along side the last part of Ray Bradbury's name. It barely worth mentioning and put in frame it will be noticeable.
Also looking at the photos below, it looks the edges worn and shaggy. The edges are perfect. The poster edge was issued that way.
A beautiful as new poster that advertised the Jules Verne Adventure and Film Festival event that took place Dec 5-15, 2007 in Los Angeles, with many celebrities attending such as William Shatner, Tippi Hedren, Malcolm McDowell, Tony Curtis, Buzz Aldrin, Stan Lee, Patrick Steward, etc. It measures 16" x 30" and is a beauty.
It is very 1930's retro looking and will display nicely when framed. It is on a rather heavy paper, that will not wrinkle easily. In beautiful (see above, please) condition. I personally presented this large poster to Ray Bradbury for his signature as shown. This item will come shipped in a tube. I had to lay the poster on the cement and place rulers, as shown, to hold it down. The rulers do not come with the poster.
I will also enclose a Letter of Authenticity with the item for the signature. Ray Bradbury was honored by the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival with a lifetime achievement award, and the closest author we have in America that can be compared to Jules Verne. ---J A Miller
