This particular copy is SIGNED by Robert Bloch and Richard Matheson and Ray Bradbury (who was asked by myself to personally sign this copy (normally these were not signed by him-which makes this book unique.

This is a very important horror novel in the genre and has set the standards for both horror literture and horror films. If you have ever seen the original first edition, issued by Simon and Schuster years before this one, the book will most likely, if not always, be encountered with brittle brown pages, a fragile binding, and a delicate dust jacket, just begging to be ripped. This book has beautiful pages and an awesome sturdy dust jacket. Also a slipcase. In short, this is a book you can also read and not worry about the value being decreased as the book falls apart in your hands.

Only 500 copies were done of this edition which rapidly sold out years ago. This is the last signed limited book edition done by Robert Bloch, and his most famous book, and filmed by Alfred Hitchcock.

Robert Bloch's last book signing venue was here, at the Phantom Bookshop, in Ventura, Calif. in 1994, and this is where this book comes from out of our warehouse.

Of note to you, Robert Bloch had a direct hand in the production of this book before his death, and this was his last signed book project. Ray Bradbury wrote the afterward to this book and has signed this book at my request, although his signature was not a part of the limitation originally. This is a somewhat unique copy in that it has the three signatures (Bloch, Matheson, Bradbury) in one book. Only few copies have Ray Bradbury's signature and this is one of them.
