Large Framed Edward Borein Mesa Etching, framed.
Here we have a very nice large framed restrike etching by famed cowboy artist Edward Borein.
The size of the frame is 22" x 18-1/4". The image or plate size is 8" x 14" - a fairly large size for a Borein etching.
The line quality is very good in the print (distance lines and heavy lines) and has been printed in a sepia brown ink.
The print is matted in a light grey offwhite. The frame is stained dark wood. Ready to hang on a wall.
There is no signature in the plate. I had to shoot the image through the glass, so you are seeing reflections on the photos. Some close-ups of the line detail are shown below. Below are close-ups of the etching, to show you detail and line quality. Please keep in mind I had to shoot the image
through a "blueish "glass, so there are some reflections and whiter areas in the image. The colors are "off "also, the etching is in a sepia brown ink. These flaws in representing the image could not be helped.
