Ray Bradbury-" Fahrenheit 451" 1953 first issue, signed
SKU: ERB21

SORRY THIS BOOK HAS BEEN SOLD.  PLEASE INQUIRE, WE MAY HAVE ANOTHER.

"FAHRENHEIT 451"

Ray Bradbury

This is the classic book that the author will mainly be remembered for, "Fahrenheit 451" which should be in every book collector's collection. Virtually in every library in dozens of foreign languages.

This is the 1953 Ballantine Number 41 first edition, which came out prior to the hard bound edition, again published by Ballantine Books in NY. This book, shown below, is in very good condition, with a bit of minor spine creasing (considering the age, very good). The interior is nice and not yellowed as much as pages I have seen on other editions. The title page has been signed by Ray Bradbury. I personally presented this classic book for Ray Bradbury for his signature. I will issue a COA with the book to protect your investment, with a photo of the signature on the COA.

This book will be what Ray Bradbury will be remembered for. It has never gone out of print since 1953, which is remarkable. Recently (Oct. 2006) there have been attempts to ban the book from the public school system, showing that the book was far ahead of its time. If you were to get just one book from Ray Bradbury for your archive or library, this would be the title to get.
