A first edition, published in 1912 by Century Company with illustrations by Monahan. The book has decorated cloth and has moderate wear to binding as shown in the photographs. . There a couple of closed small tears to the top of the spine as shown. The spine imprint is good. There is a bit of shelf slant to the volume. The hinges are not broken the internal pages are solid. A book that shows up in usually much worse condition. All seven of the Monahan plates are present. Sometimes one or two are missing.
