Very good copy of this classic book. This is the first American edition. Green cloth with gold stamping on front cover and spine. Spine stamping is about 75% removed. Book is solid, with uncracked hinges. Endpapers are decorated by Shepard. The top page edges are green. The verso of the title page states "Copyright 1926 E. P. Dutton & Company" with no listings of additional printings. Seven titles are listed across from the title page. First US edition.
