BUDDY EBSEN. Immortal star of screen, stage and television and overall creative GENIUS.

Buddy Ebsen is perhaps best-known in modern times for his role as Jed Clampett in the hit TV series The Beverly Hillbillies. Also as roles as Davy Crockett's sidekick George Russel, and as Barnaby Jones, the famous  detective.

CALIFORNIA SENATE RULES COMMITTEE RESOLUTION 
CITATION FOR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN THE "ARSON WATCH" PROGRAM FOR AGOURA, CALIFORNIA

Did you know that Buddy was involved in preventing the horrible crime of arson? He was, very much so. 

Here we have a citation from the California Senate from the Senate Rules Committee Resolution No.
195 adopted February 2. 1983. The State of California formally thanks Buddy Ebsen for his role in help of preventing arson. 

This piece has an upper right corner of the glass missing as shown. It could be re-glazed or just left alone. It measures 12" x 19" and it HUNG in Buddy Ebsen's study since 1983. It is signed by the Chairman of the committe and the senator from the 33rd District. It has the SEAL OF THE SENATE OF THE STATE CALIFORNIA in gold in the bottom right corner.
