BUDDY EBSEN. Buddy Ebsen is perhaps best-known in modern times for his role as Jed Clampett in the hit TV series The Beverly Hillbillies. Also as roles as Davy Crockett's sidekick Georgie Russell, and as Barnaby Jones, the famous  detective.

Dated 02/02/81/ Very good with envelope as shown.

It reads:

Dear Buddy,

Congratulations and mazeltov on your appearance at the Hollywood Rotary Club when you were invited to be M.C. of this affair/You didn't just throw up your hands and say, "Oy---vey!" and that takes great chutzpah which we admire. Wish we could be with you but we will be drinking a toast to you -- so l'chaim.
