Torga Batak

A very rare one of kind piece. Medicinal box with carved ancestral figures. It is carved from a variety of tropical woods resistant to insects and decay. The center portion is held together by two pegs (white pieces, one is shown in the interior and one is shown on the side of the piece) on the sides. There is a photo of the central piece separate from the main body of the piece. It measures 52" in height and is approximately 80 years old. Just an amazing piece.
