The Thinker

Bronze by Auguste Rodin

Here we have a life size copy of Rodin's "The Thinker." Rodin was considered by his contemporaries as an equal to Michealangelo, and this bronze is arguably his best-known work.

The size of this piece is large, as you can see by the photos. It measures 47" x 39" x 25" and is made of bronze with a patina on it, although the photos show that is looks like stone, or some other material. The bronze is hollow, and the piece is fairly heavy. I do not know when the creation date was on this piece, and it is not original.

Shipping is estimated at $1000 and will be shipped by Plycon Van Lines. If the shipping costs are less we will credit you the difference. If the shipping costs are more, we will absorb the extra cost.

This is a just a great piece. I have attempted to show you some of the detail on the work (even though the colors are different on the photos, due to the lighting). Subject to prior sale. Delivery time on this piece is estimated at 6-8 weeks.
