August Moreau signed Life Size Bronze Female Torcheres

These are two "restrikes" with the signature of August Moreau on each of them.

Here we have two female life-sized bronze castings on bases, each one has the signature of August Moreau on the base, as shown in the photographs

The globes that were in the raised hands are not present, the electrical outlet cord comes out from the bases. These are gilt of bronze and most likey done, as told to me by the antique appraisal and owner for whom I am selling these wonderful pieces, in the 1930's or 1940's - well after the death of Moreau. These are are classical forms.

The first bronze, with the long head piece measures approximately 75 inches in height by 20 inches by 16 inches across the base. From the bottom of the foot to the top of the head the piece measures approximately 58 inches.

The second bronze, without the head piece measures approximately 75 inches in height by 17 inches by 16 inches across the base. From the bottom of the foot to the top of the head the piece measures approximately 59 inches.

Both of these are functional and useful pieces of art.

Shipping (and full insurance) will have to by Plycon Van Lines, as they are heavy and the shipping is estimated to be about $1000 in the continental USA.

If it is less, we will issue a credit toward the purchase. If it is More we will absorb the difference.
