Published in New York by Macmillan Company in 1907. Stamped decorative cloth with a bit of dampstain to lower edge and first few pages, including the title page and frontis plate, but not bad. The rest of interior pages are very good. The spine, as shown is a bit darkened. The hinges are uncracked. Page 239 is a bit sloppily cut open on the edge. Solid and handsome volume. Considered a work of science fiction by the author of The Call of The Wild and The Sea-Wolf.
