This is a fine copy in fine dust jacket of the first complete and uncut edition of THE STAND by Stephen King.

In this version of his classic masterpiece, over 500 pages were reinstated by Stephen King as well as the setting of the book, being changed from 1980 to 1990. There is also a new beginning which starts earlier than the 1978 edition and a new ending with continues beyond the 1978 book edition. Other distinguishing factors are new characters, 12 black and white illustrations and a preface to the Second Edition by Stephen King.

The book was published in 1990 and it was inscribed to artist John Anthony Miller with a dated inscription as shown seventeen years ago by Stephen King.
