An uncommon Tarzan book to find in a dust jacket. This is the 1924 A. C. McClurg edition in a restored dust jacket. The dust jacket was masterfully restored by a well-known professional dust jacket restorer in Chicago. There is some fading to the spine letters as shown, and I have shown close-up photos of the dust jacket and the reverse of the dust jacket where the restoration work was done. The inner edge of the front flap has been strengthened as well. The inside edges of the spine panel has been strengthened also. Please look at the photo of the reverse of the jacket. There was some in-painting done in the bottom half the spine (the ant men and the publisher's imprint) and edge of rear jacket panel and some restoration and in-painting to jacket edges. Please look at the reverse of the jacket before purchasing.

The book itself is very nice, as shown and is far above the average when encountered.

The entire book and dust jacket together present itself very well and would be a high-spot in a good Burroughs collection.
