Old Bronze Small Statue of A Saint from France

This is a wonderful piece. I enjoyed photographing it, and also felt a sense of "peace" and something "regal" (yet passive) about it as well. I have shown all the views of this piece. I believe it is of a Saint.

It measures 8-1/4" x 3" x 2-3/4" in dimensions. I am not sure of the date, but it is old. There are some "fasteners" at the bottom of the piece (shown) and a ring in the back (shown). I can imagine this pleasing work of art going on an altar or shrine of some kind.
