A Pair of Magnificent Russian Palace Urns

Shown here are two totally incredible Malachite Russian Palace Urns from the first quarter of the 20th Century. They measure 36 inches in height by 20 inches in width in overall size. They are also very heavy. They are nothing less than stunning in appearance. The urns are shown in the photos below, one of which shows both of them on a table with objects between them. The antique objects between them are not included in this auction, but if interested they are also for sale. Please inquire.

This is an auction for two urns. There is a mirror behind both of them, so you will see reflections of both urns in some of the photographs. Both urns are indentical. Both are in wonderful condition. Please examine the the photographs closely. I took many close-ups to just show you the fantastic beauty and workmanship of these pieces. The bodies are of malachite and they are both adorned with Bronze Dore rims, handles and bases. There is some oxidation on the gold finish in places. Please see the photographs. Just look at the angels on the top of the urns. Amazing. The Bronze -gilded decorations have intricate chased details and are most obviously the work of master craftsmen from post-Tsarist Russia.

Shipping on these wonderful pieces is estimated at about $400. If it is less we will refund the difference. We will also be happy to hand-deliver the pieces within 150 miles of Ventura, California if you are in the Los Angeles area. This auction is for bidders only in the US.
