: Giovanni Schoeman HYPNOS bust with bronze, copper overlays.

This piece was created about 1977 or thereabouts from the information I could gather. It was purchased from an estate in Santa Barbara, CA which is south of the studio the artist had in Solvang, CA.

I have shown the majesty of this impressive piece in the photos. Just imagine this stunning work of art in your home. It is guaranteed to draw attention. Notice the fine detail. It measures at the largest dimensions 23" x 13.5" x 15" at the largest dimensions. The base measures 6" x 7.5" The left tip of the feather on the head dress is lacking (shown in photograph #8) and there is a bit of edge wear to the base (shown in photograph #10). There are two small chipped ends under the left side of the bust above the signature, which cannot be seen unless one turns the piece upside down. I have indicated the areas with two arrows in the last photo. A stunning work of art that makes a statement. (There are two paper labels stuck to the sculpture, please disregard. I forgot to remove them when I took the photographs.)

This is a heavy sculpture on a pedestal- this piece weighs in at about 150 pounds. Shipping on this is estimated at $300 and will have to be professionally crated.
