Friends From Oz Giclée print by John Anthony Miller
The artist John Anthony Miller is known around the world in estoteric circles for his highly detailed miniature etchings and engravings, many of which are no longer in production, but we now pleased to be able to offer you enlarged versions of many of them as quality, signed Giclée prints directly from the artist who is still living. He was known in the 1980's as the foremost miniature etching artist with his work in many renowned doll houses in every state of the union and in Europe.
This is reproduced portion of a watercolor print titled "The Magicial Land of Oz" the artist did in 1979. It has been slightly modified by the artist and reproduced here, in 2007, under a new title " Friends From Oz" as a Giclee print. The image size is 6" by 5-1/4" and the paper size is 8.5" x 11"
The characters shown are The Tin Woodman, Dorothy and Toto, The Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion of Oz all of which are going down the Yellow Brick Road. These characters are based on those created by L. Frank Baum and originally illustrated by W. W. Denslow and later John R. Neill.
This print is limited to only 250 prints and will be numbered in the lower left corner in pencil by the artist, as well as signed and titled. The number is NOT shown on the photo of the print, and the two 'SAMPLE' words shown on the photo are NOT on the final print. We put these on to discourage copying.
The print is hand-titled and signed and numbered in pencil by the artist under the image and comes with a Certificate of Assurance to protect your investment.
Printed with archival ink on archival paper.
