A solid copy showing light wear and slight dulling of the spine and gilt lettering. Solid interior with unbroken hinges, although the rear hinge shows signs of light cracking, still strong. Jack London's second book. First edition with Mcmi (1901 in Roman Numerals) on the title page. Some copies sold as first editions have the Mcmii on the title page, are actually second editions.
