This is a superb copy of this book, as the photos show. The gold is bright on the front cover, the white ink is not flaked from the front cover. The endpapers are uncracked, the book is solid. The spine imprint is nice. Top page edges are gold.
Published in 1902 by the Bodley Head in the UK, with nine photogravures by the great artist Maxfield Parrish, in black and white, with tissue guards and the title of the photogravure on the tissue. Page 152 has been carelessly torn to separate the page, but not affecting the text. A wonderful book on nice paper with deckled side edges. All plates and tissue guards are present.
