This book is the first Cece Caruso mystery. Hip, sexy and smart, a lot of interesting facts and twists are here for you. Book is pristine, and is first edition, first printing. The dust jacket is protected by a clear mylar jacket protector. A lot Ventura is written in the book as well. Ventura is where Gardner's creation Perry Mason was "born." A really well-done piece of work!

ADDITIONALLY, this book is historic. Why is that? The book was signed and dated INSIDE the Ventura ERLE STANLEY GARDNER BUILDING (as shown in the photo), where Gardner worked in the 30's and penned his thoughts for the Mason books. With the book are also included a book mark which commemorates the first Erle Stanley Gardner Festival that was just held in Ventura on the DATE inscribed inside the book, and a promotional card for Susan Kandel's first book, as shown.
