John Anthony Miller Etching (Inspired from Alice in Wonderland)
These are the last of the original etchings I will be listing on ebay at these low prices. They were from a gallery,
THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
ETCHING, ENGRAVING and AQUATINT
An oak framed and matted engraving and aquatint that I did on copperplate in the 1980's. This is a nice imprint which measures 2 inches by 3 inches and is signed, and titles and from my collection (marked "Artist's Proof"). It shows Alice going and coming simultaneously through the looking glass. How is this possible? A parallel universe. I think so.
The overall size of the piece, including the frame is about 8-3/4" by 6-3/4"
What you see was in no way reduced photographically and was hand-printed and pulled off my etching press, indicated by the "Imp." under my signature. The back of the piece has a small statement as shown.
This piece came from a gallery that went somewhere else.
Thank you, John Anthony Miller, Ventura, CA (www.johnanthonymiller.com)
