FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS
by Ernest Hemingway
A nice 1940 first edition copy with the letter "A" on the verso of title page. As shown, a nice solid copy, better than usually encountered. Square, unbroken hinges and with a bit of darkening to the inside endpapers from glue used to construct the book, as is usually found in the book.
Covers are nice, spine has a nice imprint with minimal to moderate rubbing to the red, title fully can be read.
An overall solid nice copy in a high quality John Anthony Miller rendered facsimile dust jacket. Enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector, not shown in the photo. First edition. A fine addition to a good book collection for the collector with common sense...an attractive book in first edition which could be carefully read in a dead-on replicated dust jacket. |
