In Cold Blood Facsimile dust jacket for the first edition book by Truman Capote
A rendered facsimile dust jacket for the first edition book of In Cold Blood by Truman Capote published in 1965 by Random House Publishing Company. Considered by many people as his masterpiece by the genius author. This jacket is printed on woven stock paper like the actual first edition. This jacket will also fit subsequent early printings if you have one.
Be assured it is marked (see below) as a FACSIMILE dust jacket. I usually do not make facsimile dust jackets of such recent books, but this book warrants merit as a masterpiece of this age and is honored as such- written by a tragic figure.
The book was the basis of recently done brilliant film.
The jacket was rendered by artist John Anthony Miller and archival ink and special paper were used. Jacket comes trimmed and enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector, ready to put on the book.
As on ALL our book jackets, there will be an attached signed label on the verso of the jacket signed and stating that this is a facsimile dust jacket, also the monogram "JAM" of the artist, and "Facsimile Dust Jacket" printed tastefully at the bottom of the rear jacket flap.
