A Farewell To Arms Facsimile dust jacket for the first edition book by Ernest Hemingway
Arguably the greatest love story ever written.
Facsimile dust jacket for the 1929 Scribner's first edition. No book is included, only the beautiful dust jacket with the wonderful Cleon design. Color matched to an actual dust jacket for accuracy.
This facsimile dust jacket will also fit the later editions, with the gold cover and spine labels on them which are printed by Scribner's. I have a copy on one of my 6th printings which also fits a first issue book.
The original dust jacket was digitally scanned restored from an original by artist John Anthony Miller (johnanthonymiller.com) and has been trimmed, enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector. It has been printed with archival inks on 120GSM paper.
The jacket has "Facsimile Dust Jacket" tastefully printed on the rear jacket flap and has the monogram of "JAM" at the bottom of the rear jacket flap.
Additionally, this dust jacket has a label affixed to the VERSO of the jacket, stating that it is a facsimile dust jacket and signed by John Anthony Miller.
