Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
Robert L. May
This is a fine copy in dust jacket, which was also a facsimile (stated as an "authentic reproduction of the original edition" on the jacket) of the original edition issued many years ago.
This is the Golden Anniversary Edition of the original book, with the same illustrations, etc. that was printed in 1939.
I purchased several of these books when they were issued so this is a first edition of the facsimile book of Rudolph.
Think of this: Rudolph is the only original addition to the folklore of Santa Claus in the last century. This remark was made by sociologist James Barnett. It is just a story about a lonely little deer who found happiness when he gladly accepted a chance to help others.
Fine copy in a fine dust jacket. I will also put the dust jacket in a clear Mylar jacket protector to keep it new.
