A digitally restored rendered facsimile dust jacket for the 1948 edition book of
Synthetic Men of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs,
published by his own company, Burroughs, Inc.
Be assured it
is marked
(see below on rear jacket flap) as a FACSIMILE dust jacket.
The jacket was digitally rendered by artist John Anthony Miller and archival
pigment ink and acid-free paper were used. Jacket comes trimmed and enclosed in a
Mylar jacket protector, ready to put on the book. The original jacket was compared with the facsimile to get
the colors as accurate as possible.
As on ALL our facsimile book
jackets, there will be an attached signed label on the verso of the jacket signed by the artist and stating that this is a facsimile dust jacket. Additional, the monogram
"JAM" of the artist, and "Facsimile Dust Jacket" as printed tastefully, as
not to detract from the jacket's artwork. Please see the photo below of the bottom of the rear jacket flap.
