Here is Ray Bradbury's "best-seller" (before "Farewell Summer") book, FROM THE DUST RETURNED, a Halloween story, signed and dated on Halloween in the year of the book's publication. Also this book has the Charles Addams haunted house art dust jacket on it, the first time that this piece of art saw publication. A true treasure.

Ray Bradbury, probably the most influential author of this century. Certainly the most beloved and famous living author across all genres, with such classic works as Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, as well as many social and futuristic commentaries, as well as poetry.

I personally presented this book to him for signature and the date five years ago in Los Angeles. Not many copies were signed that month at all as he was ill at the time. So, this book it is safe to assume fairly rare or somewhat rare written the Oct. 31, 2001 date in it.
