A beautiful reproduction dust jacket for the 1951 first edition of The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury. This is a high quality reproduction dust jacket for the famous book published in 1951 by Doubleday Company. The jacket has been digitally restored by the fine artist John Anothony Miller (johnanthonymiller.com) using archival pigment inks and acid-free paper.
The jacket has the small "JAM" logo underneath which states "Facsimile Dust Jacket" at the bottom edge of the rear jacket flap. This is done in tasteful manner in which it will not detract from the elemental beauty of the work. Further, on the verso of the jacket there is a small label affixed and signed and dated by the artist, thus making it a "collectible." These jackets will never be done in commercial quantities, each is printed individually by John Anthony Miller. After it is inspected it is trimmed and enclosed in crystal clear Mylar to protect it (the Mylar is removable) and pre-folded ready to put on your book. The jacket will also fit the very early 2nd or 3rd 1951 editions as well. If you have a book and are not sure if the jacket will fit, send me the dimensions (height, width, and thickness) and I can make the jacket fit any sized book you have.
