Happy reading! Inside Cover Back: Burr Morse is a seventh generation Vermonter. He received is Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Vermont in 1971. His father convinced him that developing the family farm could prove to be a worthwhile endeavor. Over time, Burr's energies and talents have helped the farm to flourish. As the farm has grown, so have Burr's talents. He is currently a trombonist with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra, The Vermont Jazz Ensemble and The Swingin' Vermont Big Band. He writes a bi-weekly column for the Montpelier-Barre Times Argus and has been published in Vermont Life Magazine. Burr lives with his wife, Betsy, in East Montpelier, Vermont
