Musa 'Siam Ruby' WOOOWEEE! Now this is just a good looking plant all around.About a year ago if you could find this banana at all, it would have been at a great expense. Thought to be from New Guinea as a sport of Musa tapo, this burgandy banana with lime green splatters will serve as a fantastic centerpiece in the tropical garden. The more sun it is in, the more intense the color. Although we have not fruited it yet ourselves, it is said to be a good eating fruit with a very dark skin. Zones 9-10
The plants that we have right now are very large, well established plants about 18-24" tall. Very nice, fantastic color!
Red Abyssinian Banana Ensete ventricosum has some of the most colorful leaves in the genus. They look as if they were painted with long graceful strokes. Fantastic specimen plant! Zones 9-11
