A highly prized aroid from Southern Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina, S. vermitoxicus is a true oddball. Almost resembling a strange cross between an Alocasia and a Skunk Cabbage, it actually acts more like a succulent. Easy to grow & tolerant of drought conditions, it's often found growing in bone dry conditions in situ. While the striking foliage can grow over three feet tall & just as wide, the bizarre inflorescence that smells faintly of fresh mushrooms steals the show in any collection. The plants that we have available at this time are large full plants about 2 ft tall.
